Anthony Marciano

I started my business working for a large New Rochelle broker who has since sold.  I worked as and agent for 1 year and an associate broker under her brokerage for an additional 6 months.  I decided at that point that if  I was to make it in real estate, I had to try to make it under my own flag, Anthony Marciano Real Estate, Inc.  I started with a used desk, 2 plastic lawn chairs, a used file cabinet and I bought my own computer.  I decided to open my business in the oldest part of New Rochelle where my parents had a gift shop.  It was familiar to me and I went to my customer base.  At the time I was selling primarily multi-family homes.  My 1st deal came approximately 9 months after I opened.  I was approximately $30,000 in the hole and I sold a 12 family building and recovered almost all of my losses on that deal.  5 years after opening my own office, I bought a building an relocated my office 2 blocks away.   I outgrew my office twice since then. I renovated and moved to my own building at 546 North Avenue, the old Grabel's Pharmacy across from the Hamilton Avenue parking lot.  I decided that the move to a new location was not enough, I needed to make an additional change.  I decided to purchase a Century 21 franchise in February of 2006.  The training, technology, website presence, worldwide recognition made an immediated impact on my business.  As the Broker for Century 21 Marciano Real Estate, I have decided to concentrate my efforts on improving and supporting my agents businesses.  To grow my company and its reach further into the community, I purchased Beryl Z Realty and brought over 13 experienced agents.  We currently have 43 agents and growing.  I am constantly searching for new agent to grow with my company.  I am proud to say, I have graduated 2 agents in my 20 year career to Real Estate Brokers of their own business.  At 45 years old I have seen the 1 up and 2 down markets.  I realized early that as long as people know you are doing the right thing by them, they will refer you many times.  Approximately 80 percent of our business today is referrals.  This has not only kept us in business but helped me thrive during the past 20 challenging years.  I look forward to assisting you and your family in your next move.   If you have any question, please feel free to contact me @ 914-906-6754 or 914-235-4996x202.
